Lymm High School is a well-established, 11-18 comprehensive school with over 1950 students (400 in the 6th form) and exceptional resources, including 28 acres of beautiful grounds, a swimming pool, leisure complex and our own residential centre in Anglesey. We are a welcoming and supportive school, with a strong track record of excellent exam results both at KS4 and KS5. The Food and Nutrition Department is a strong and successful department, who have gone from strength to strength over the last few years. Numbers opting for Food courses are growing following the successful introduction of GCSE Food and Nutrition last year, to complement the Hospitality and Catering Level 2 BTEC. The option of KS5 Food and Nutrition is planned to be launched for teaching from September 2027, as the current Y10 KS4 cohort progress to KS5. The department has three kitchens, including a catering kitchen and training restaurant for KS4 & KS5 pupils. The department sits within the faculty of Art and Technology, who are a friendly, supportive and committed team of experienced and skilled teachers.
